CALMING BREATHING TECHNIQUES

In moments of anxiety, try some deep conscious breaths. Breath in for the count of 4, hold for the count of 4 and slowly breath out for the the count of 4/6. Do this a few time for a calming effect. You can also try box breathing or finger breathing.

SIMPLE SELF-CARE HABITS

A great morning routine and habits is transformational. Make sure you plan your morning to include some of these habits:

- set your alarm early

- have a big glass of water to hydrate

- DON’T look at your phone until the days ready, e.g. 9am

- Do some gentle exercise for 20 minutes

Self care is not selfish so you must put yourself first. It’s like the aeroplane analogy, you have to put your oxygen mask on first or you are no help to others. Apply this to life, look after you and others will benefit.
